Saw this post about PE “slop” the other day and nearly choked on my Foie Gras Torchon.

Anyone who agrees with this has clearly never enjoyed a doppio espresso from a villa in Sorrento paid for with their Amex Platinum card.

Personally, I find it beautiful that many of the most brilliant minds (and handsome, chiseled bodies) that Winnetka, Illinois and Wellesley, Massachusetts have ever produced came together to discover the optimal apartment designs for the renting class to live in. 

Let’s be honest here: Renters who lease Class B apartment buildings in the suburbs move around often due to their unfortunate financial situations, and probably don’t have the mental capacity to learn a completely new apartment complex layout every time. Standardizing those layouts across the country just makes life easier for everyone.
